| ISraelDear Friends of the Hebrew University across Europe,
In response to recent events, the Hebrew University is proud to announce the establishment of a dedicated fund aimed at supporting students serving in the reserves, residents of Gaza-adjacent regions affected by the recent terrorist attacks, and evacuees from the southern and northern Israel regions. Within just three weeks, the University has successfully raised NIS 15 million for this critical cause.
This scholarship fund is part of the University's unwavering commitment to supporting its students during challenging times.
These tragic times remind us of the human cost of war and the true blessings of family and friends. As we mourn those we have lost and prepare for difficult days ahead, we find comfort in community and strength in solidarity. We are grateful for your support of The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

The Hebrew University Diversity Unit
|
In the harsh and uncertain reality of war, the Hebrew University stands as an unwavering beacon of resilience. In these dire times, promoting diversity becomes a remedy for the shattered soul of Israeli society. In the shadows of war, we are determined to cultivate a community that is a testament to the endurance of the human spirit. A community that stands defiant in the face of adversity, embracing a mosaic of stances, worldviews, and cultures as a collective act of resistance against the prevailing despair. We vow to create an environment where students don't just survive but find solace and protection amidst the turmoil. It is in these trying times that our commitment to academic, personal, and social flourishing helps forge a community strengthened by diversity of life experiences and perspectives. |
