Patient Who Refused Hospitalization Attacks Doctor at Nahariya Hospital
A patient attacked an Arab orthopedic doctor in his 30s during an emergency room shift at the Galilee Medical Center in Nahariya. The patient was supposed to be admitted to the orthopedic department but refused and attacked the doctor. The attacker was subsequently taken to the police station for questioning, and the doctor filed a complaint. Dr. Zeev Feldman, chairman of the State Physicians Organization, stated, 'There must be zero tolerance for violence in hospitals, especially against medical staff. I have requested from the Health Ministry Director General that the attacker be banned from returning to hospital grounds.'
