Visit to Haifa Port and Haifa Chambers of Commerce
Ambassador Sanjeev Singla visited Haifa Chamber of Commerce and Haifa Port to understand the existing and future trade opportunities. He met with Mr. Eshel Armony - Chairman of the Haifa Port Board and Mr. David Castel President of Haifa Chamber of Commerce.

Ambassador Singla visited Fox Group, one of the largest textile groups in Israel and met with Mr. Elad Vered, Dy CEO, to discuss new opportunities and possible collaborations in the textiles sector with India.

iCreate-SNC Demo Day celebrations
Ambassador Singla participated in the panel discussion on 'Unlocking Opportunities for Collaborative Innovation' being conducted as part of the culmination program of the SNC - iCreate Accelerator followed by the first ever Demo Day which featured emerging collaborations between Israeli companies and Indian partners.

Embassy of India along with the Federation of Indian Export Organizations organized the webinar ‘Bilateral Trade & Investment Opportunities between India & Israel – Post Covid-19’ on March 10. Ambassador Singla greeted over 100 Indian exporters along with other distinguished speakers: Mr. Sharad Saraf, President of FIEO, Dr. Srikar K. Ambassador visited the port of Ashdod
Ambassador Singla first visited the port of Ashdod to examine options for future business collaborations. Ashdod Port Chairman Orna Hozman-Bechor and Ashdod Port Company CEO Shiko Zana led the visit. Ambassador was interested in the port's preparations for opening the market to competition, investments made in infrastructure, the transformation of the port of Ashdod into a green port, and future developments.

After a first-of-its-kind Israel-India Innovation Accelerator program, called i3A, five of the six Israeli participating startups have already entered into some sort of agreement with Indian partners.

ICL signs 600,000 ton Indian potash contract Israeli global specialty minerals and chemicals company ICL announced it has signed a supply contract with Indian Potash Limited (IPL), India’s largest importer of potash. ICL will supply an 600,000 metric tons of potash - with mutual options for an additional 50,000 metric tons - to be supplied through December 2021. The agreed selling price in the contract is $280 per ton CIFFO Indian ports, $50 per ton above the previous contract. The contract is part of the five-year supply agreement signed in 2018 between ICL and IPL. April 5 |
