Stress Management Skills are essential for any modern employee our days. Stress up to a level is useful since motivates you to implement your goals and reach your targets. On the other hand if the commitments are above than your capacity, capabilities and skills then the challenges you face can over whelm you.
The negative impact of stress reflects into your (a) performance; (b) health; and (c) your relationships. It is vital to learn how to manage your stress level for your well-being and your career.
In this 90-minute lecture we will attempt to provide the main tips to be applied by the listeners when they feel is necessary.
Dr. Alexia-Mary Tzortzaki is currently an Assistant Professor and has been teaching Management, Leadership and Emotional
Intelligence for more than 14 years at the Hellenic Mediterranean University and the Hellenic Open University.
She is a UK certified NLP Master Practitioner and a Certified Mediator with ADR ODR International. Prior to her
academic posting, Alexia spent more than a decade living in the UK where she gained broad corporate experience,
as a communications senior executive and as company owner of a strategic management consultancy. Having been
certified as business advisor and trainer for a UK Enterprise Agency, she helped many start-ups take their first
steps. Nowadays, she deploys these skills and experience to empower young people to become active, global
citizens. Alexia enjoys writing. Her latest book being, “Speak Your Truth and Lead: Empowering Women to become
Compassionate Leaders”, which she was invited to teach at one of India’s top Universities. A life-long learner,
Alexia claims that she is still a beginner! To serve her life’s Vision, which is the empowerment of young people, she
