Facing Recurrent Pregnancy Losses

The story of Zahala

Recurrent Pregnancy Loss (RPL) has become a growing major issue in the lives of many couples worldwide, when almost 50% of them do not have etiology. In addition, other aspects are controversial.
The main reason for this is that RPL deals with interdisciplinary approaches, from physical/clinical conditions to mental/emotional conditions.

This is the story of Zahala. She is one in millions.

"My name is Zahala. I am 30 years old and I have undergone 4 pregnancies and 3 miscarriages in 3 years.
I went into a cycle of repeated abortions one after the other.
Right after the second abortion, I was sent to do checkups. The results came out OK, but I kept on experiencing pregnancy losses.
I cannot express in words this feeling. I found it very difficult to deal with. You go through terrible inexplicable pregnancy losses, and nobody knows why...
Following my doctor's instruction, as soon as I got pregnant again, I would start with the medicinal treatment of Anti-thrombotic protocol - Clexane.
But even that did not work for me, and I lost it again – my third pregnancy.
In the fourth pregnancy, I was given the addition of Steroids and Aspirin. At first there were a lot of apprehensions and worries, but with the help of my doctor and his team, I managed to go over it step by step.
What helped me most in the difficult time I went through, was that I did not stop believing in a good ending, thanks to the close accompaniment and support of the medical team, my family & friends !!"
